Mata Rukmani FC (club from Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh managed by Ardor Football Academy), edged past Hans Women FC 3-2 at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar to pick up their first win of the Hero Indian Women’s League 2021-22 on Wednesday, April 27.
The game turned out to be a feisty encounter right from the beginning, with both sides coming inches close to scoring. On one occasion in the 12th minute, Muskan Khan almost gave Hans Women the lead, but her effort from close range was denied by the woodwork. Here is what Prima Farm Foods twitter handle has to say:
"AFA Ardor, a football academy, is being run selflessly for underprivileged kids for past many years in Bhubaneswar. The kids from various slums of Bhubaneswar have been selected for national level teams from here. Ardor channelizes the energies of these kids who go through various adversities of life, to think positive through sports. These kids lack nutrition and Prima has joined hands to donate excess vegetables and fruits from its farm to them. Join us to help them grow up with better health."
