Mata Rukmani FC (club from Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh managed by Ardor Football Academy), edged past Hans Women FC 3-2 at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar to pick up their first win of the Hero Indian Women’s League 2021-22 on Wednesday, April 27.
The game turned out to be a feisty encounter right from the beginning, with both sides coming inches close to scoring. On one occasion in the 12th minute, Muskan Khan almost gave Hans Women the lead, but her effort from close range was denied by the woodwork. Our wonder children attended the1st ISL Match at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar, Odisha where they experiencedthe match celebrations as player escorts, centre piece flag bearers and Playerwarm up volunteers.
Thanks Odisha FC and ISL- IndianSuper League for giving this opportunity - the children totally loved it andthey came back with big smile and even bigger dreams.

8 yrs ago we dreamt of creating best soccer players for our state. Last week our Lads Sunil Soren - aged -16 and Ranjan Soren aged -15 have signed a 5 yr professional contract with Punjab FC, they are the youngest in the history of Odisha Football to sign such a contract. These kids will shine as a beacon of hope and inspiration for millions of aspiring soccer playing tribal kids of Odisha. Through our "Football for All" campaign Ardor Football Academy continues to deliver on its promises and has been producing extra ordinary talents from the tribal.kids of Odisha...AFA runs the largest and the most impactful free soccer training camp in Odisha covering 3 cities -20+slums and impacting more than 5000+ kids.

Kudos to these boys and their coach Mr. Jayadev Mohapatra for making professional football a reality for so many budding stars in Odisha. To be signed by Indian U-16 Football Team is a BIG achievement. More importantly, they come from the Salia Sahi slum of my city. Feel so proud in interacting with them!
